  Photo credit: Al Greer imaging El Cielo - a Progressive Metal band at the core but with much darker ideas than your average “Prog” outfit. This band aims to showcase the darker side of heavy music without trying to sound like every other angry Heavy Hetal band. The music is complex, ambient, thoughtful and musical.

Jim's goal within this project is to express all the unusual aspects of rhythm and music which we all come across in our time listening to and learning about music but rarely get to try out in the mainstream Pop idiom.

The band's last EP is available for listening on its myspace.

Reverend Ribble and The Ginger Nuts - playing Rock n Roll from the 50s as its staple, this band is all about the fun.

  Whether playing its regular night in Nottingham to hundreds of party seekers or to wedding parties, 1950s covers or new songs with a swing will get you dancing.

This group consists of MLC-Academy's Rob Upton and Michael Wetherburn, along with multi-instrumentalist Chris Dawson on Saxophone who currently studies drums with Jim at MLC-Academy.
