If you want to learn to play drum kit in Nottingham so that you can jam with your favourite songs and play in a band with your friends then an informal approach may suit you, however if you wish to take drum lessons to develop certain musical skills or to gain certain qualifications for college or university then Jim teaches graded syllabi and can tailor courses to deal with certain technical issues.   • Setting up drum kits and other percussion instruments to get the best sound for the least effort without damaging one's own body.
  • Graded exams from Trinity Guildhall and Rockschool boards, plus others by request. Grades 1-8 and beyond.
  • How to get ahead in the local music scene with advice on finding other musicians to booking gigs.
